designed during my time at Steve Madden. began as a flat meant to be the in-between of a mesh flat and a ballet flat.

samples made in banana, matte black, tan, raffia, snakeskin and white canvas

samples made as a dress heel in crimson, creme, and black. paired with a tan sock

design inspired by cult gaia imara flat

redesigned for comfort and stay, toe structure, and a more "flowery" upper pattern

early design ideas, playing with upper patterns, aesthetics, and heel strap

design chosen to go forward

aesthetic focus on sweeping patterns and design flow. re-patterned for manufacturing as a 2-piece upper, with focus on a clean design language. front opening removed.
